We Want Gold!

The South East Conference GOLD Challenge is about to kickoff -

Do you have your game face on?

All of our SEC rivals are competing to see who can find the most generous and supportive young alumni - are you ready to represent the Razorbacks?

The SEC Graduates of the Last Decade (G.O.L.D.) Challenge is an awesome opportunity for recent graduates from the classes of 1996 through 2005 to demonstrate their loyalty and commitment to the University of Arkansas.

The main focus of this Challenge is to increase the percentage of undergraduate alumni of the past ten years who make a gift to their University, from July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2006.

Your gifts go directly to the college, department, or program that you designate, and provide crucial resources to meet the area of greatest need.

By participating in the SEC Challenge and supporting the University of Arkansas, you have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of current students, increase the strength of your degree and make the next ten years on campus better than ever before.

You can support academic excellence at the University of Arkansas with your gift today. And at the same time demonstrate that Arkansas alumni are second to none in the SEC!

Absolutely! Your gifts go directly to the college, department, or program that you designate, and provide crucial resources for that area.

Which graduation years are included in the SEC G.O.L.D. Challenge?

"Graduates of the Last Decade" refers to alumni who graduated from May 1996 through May 2005.

Why focus just on graduates of the past ten years?

For most universities, the young alumni giving rate is typically lower than the total alumni population. Focusing on graduates from 1996-2005 will increase the giving percentage across the board, help increase the dollars for valuable annual support and at the same time increase the national standing of your alma mater.

Why focus on participation rather than total dollars raised?

We know many young alums start new jobs, buy houses, new vehicles, and generally are "getting settled." Therefore, we stress that it is not the amount of the gift that matters, but rather participation. Plus, alumni support helps determine national rankings, which means your gift increases the value of your degree.
